International celebrity chef, Joe Barza adds his twist to create new Al Maeda menu

Al Maeda, the signature Lebanese restaurant at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Dubai – Jumeirah Beach, today introduced its all new concept and menu, led and inspired by celebrity chef Joe Barza.   

The specially crafted menu features a feast of popular Lebanese dishes inspired by the soul of Beirut with an unexpected twist, offering something for everyone.

The all-new menu has been prepared under the guidance of Chef Lawrence Alnajjad and celebrity chef, Joe Barza, carefully recreating the spirit of the Levant in the heart of Dubai. The restaurant also features an open kitchen so that guests can see Al Maeda’s chefs in action.

World-renowned for his creative Lebanese cuisine and for introducing Master Chef to the Middle East, Joe Barza has collaborated with Hilton to add his very own unique touch to some of the most popular Al Maeda dishes.   

Al Maeda has introduced 25 new must-try items to the menu including, chicken shawarma served with a twist, delicious signature pistachio hummus combining a creamy pistachio with kabsa spices, a refreshing watermelon salad and a new take on the traditional manakish and chicken arayes. Each of the new dishes have been prepared with a modern twist to the traditional Lebanese flavors.

Al Maeda’s new concept boasts a vibrant, modern elegance in a family-friendly atmosphere, making it ideal for relaxing and spending time with loved ones. The restaurant caters to all occasions with three zones: The restaurant, the lively bar and the lounge/terrace area where guests can sit back and relax with an array of shisha flavors whilst enjoying beautiful views of Jumeirah Beach and the soon to be completed, Ain Dubai.

Ghaf Kitchen, the popular restaurant on wheels, has announced its new home opening this October at Dubai’s state of the art fresh food market, Waterfront Market in Deira. Replacing one of Dubai’s most historic institutions, The Waterfront Market will be a hub for fresh food shopping in the region, and Ghaf Kitchen is thrilled to join a centre where all ingredients and menus will be created and prepared freshly everyday.

Dubai’s new fresh food and shopping destination and Ghaf Kitchen’s new home will be a fusion of traditional Emirati souk and a modern market and the Ghaf Kitchen food truck will be dishing up the freshest of ingredients with menus chalked onto the daily specials board that will unquestionably whet your appetite.

Ghaf Kitchen will be serving gourmet food that is full of flavour, the bespoke menu includes a number of fresh selections, such as, the Fresh Catch Burrito; a flour burrito filled with seared fresh catch of the day from the market, spicy rice, sour cream and house made salsa, also available as a vegan option, and the infamous Ghaf Burger made from house-ground Aberdeen Angus beef patty, Irish mature cheddar cheese, crispy onions, and tomato jam. Rounding off the menu are sweet delights, cool Fentiman’s lemonade, soft drinks and fresh daily roasted artisanal coffee.

Ghaf Kitchen’s charming, intimate and deliciously memorable dining experience is quite literally a 5 star restaurant on wheels. Now open at Waterfront Market, Deira from 9am to 8pm on weekdays and 8am to 8pm on weekends and all national holidays.
